AEG Presents has hired former Swansea Building Society Arena venue director Lisa Mart as regional general manager of indigo at The O2 and the Watford Colosseum.
AEG said Mart, who has more than 15 years of experience across the live events and venue industry, will be responsible for overseeing the commercial and operational performances of both venues. She will be based in London and report to group venues operations director Stuart Dorn.
Mart has spent the past 13 years with ATG Entertainment, which she joined as front of house manager at the New Wimbledon Theatre before going on to become the venue’s general manager. She moved to the Alexandra Birmingham in 2016 as theatre director where she managed a £650,000 refurbishment project and relaunched the venue with a full rebrand. She joined the Swansea venue in 2021.
Dorn said, “We are delighted to welcome Lisa to AEG Presents, a key team member as we continue to grow our mid-size venue portfolio. She brings a wealth of experience, which will help with both the establishment of Watford Colosseum and the continued growth of indigo at The 02, which will host over 200 show in 2025.”
The Watford Colosseum is set to reopen in the autumn, following a multi-million-pound refurbishment. AEG Presents will also operate the Olympia Music Venue in London, which is set to launch next year as part of the wider £1.3bn regeneration of Olympia.
