AOK Events, Ambro Events, Cavendish Hospitality & Events and Events International have been appointed to provide Rugby World Cup hospitality, Access has learnt.

A pitching process for the contracts is understood to have taken place for three months in late 2014.

AOK Events’ managing director Alex Hewitt told Access that the appointment comes as the company experiences its most successful year to date.

“This is great for us, and the win sits alongside our portfolio of hospitality events including Wimbledon Tennis Championship and The Ashes at Lords,” he added.

The Rugby World Cup kicks off on 18 September.
