Max SteventonWembley Stadium (cap. 90,000) will host 34 concerts with an expected 3 million attendees between June and September, marking the highest number of music events staged at the venue in a single year.
The schedule begins on 6 June with Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard, featuring Take That, Raye, Niall Horan and Fatboy Slim.
Harry Styles will then perform a record run of 12 shows at the stadium starting on 12 June as part of the Together, Together tour.
My Chemical Romance will perform three shows at the stadium in July as part of The Black Parade tour, followed by Bruno Mars – who is scheduled for six concerts from 18 July. Luke Combs will play three shows in the North London venue from 31 July, before The Weeknd begins a five-show run on 14 August with his After Hours Til Dawn tour.
Bon Jovi will perform three concerts at Wembley Stadium from 4 September on the Forever tour, marking their first shows at the venue in seven years. The concert series concludes on 12 September with Diljit Dosanjh performing as part of his Aura world tour.
Wembley’s record-breaking summer follows predictions of a stand out summer of live events in London. The Mayor of London predicts London summer shows will attract 7.5 million visitors generating £2.7bn for the local economy. Harry Styles’ run of shows alone is predicted to generate £1.1bn.
