Harry Styles opened his Together, Together tour with a 12-night run at the stadium, earning a Guinness World Records title for the longest residency in a single run by an artist at Wembley Stadium.
My Chemical Romance performed three shows as part of its Long Live The Black Parade tour, marking the 20th anniversary of The Black Parade and the band’s biggest UK shows to date.
Bruno Mars played six nights at Wembley as part of his Romantic Tour, while The Weeknd performed five shows in August as part of his After Hours Til Dawn Tour.
Luke Combs became the first solo country artist to headline Wembley Stadium, performing three consecutive nights and earning a Guinness World Records title.
Bon Jovi returned to Wembley in September for three shows, marking the band’s fourth appearance at the stadium, including two runs at the former Wembley Stadium.
Diljit Dosanjh closed the concert programme, becoming the first South Asian artist to headline Wembley Stadium.
The summer also began with Capital’s Summertime Ball, featuring performances from RAYE, Niall Horan, Calvin Harris, Jason Derulo, Myles Smith, Lola Young and Sienna Spiro.
Alongside the 34 concerts, Wembley Stadium hosted AEW All In: London, taking the total number of major events held during the 98-night period to 35.
“This has been an incredible summer for Wembley Stadium, made even more special by the millions of fans who have joined us and created some unforgettable nights along the way,” said Wembley Stadium director Mark Lynch. “Welcoming more than 2.5 million music fans and artists from across the world is a huge achievement and demonstrates the scale of what we can now deliver at the national stadium.
“With a mammoth 34 concerts this summer, up from 26 last year, this has been Wembley Stadium’s biggest summer of music ever. Last year was a record-breaking concert season for Wembley, and to have surpassed that again just 12 months later is something very special. It reinforces our position as one of the world’s leading live entertainment venues and gives us an exciting platform to build on for the future.”
Wembley will now turn its attention back to sport, playing host to England’s Nations League home ties as well as staging American College Football for the first time on 19 September.
