We Group was appointed by Suffolk-based software company Halo to deliver production and operational services for its first live event.
The agency provided integrated event production, operations, health and safety, and licensing services fore the inaugural Halo Festival, which saw Halo step into the live events industry for the first time.
The one-day music festival held at Trinity Park in Ipswich included performances by Two Door Cinema Club, The Vaccines, Natasha Bedingfield and Scouting for Girls, alongside local artists.
The Fair and We Are OPS are agencies within We Group. The Fair was responsible for event planning, production management and live delivery. We Are OPS managed licensing, Safety Advisory Group liaison, security, traffic and medical planning, and health and safety.
“Halo is a software company with no previous experience in delivering live events, so finding the right production partner was absolutely critical for us,” said Halo brand executive Tom Cole. “From our first conversation with [We Group CEO] Nick Morgan, it was clear that The Fair was the right fit. They understood what we were trying to build and guided us through the entire process with real care and expertise.”
Morgan said, “We’re seeing more brands invest in live experiences as a way to create authentic connections with their audiences, and Halo Festival is a fantastic example of that. A well-delivered live event can become one of a brand’s most powerful marketing investments, creating long-term value that extends well beyond the event itself. Our teams have worked incredibly hard to deliver the festival, and it’s been rewarding to see such positive feedback from across the board.”
