Independent live event production agency We Group has enjoyed one of its busiest periods in the company’s 20-year history, working on 25 UK events in just 16 days this month.

The company, headed by co-founders Nick Morgan and Rob Dudley, said it had produced festivals, concerts, placemaking trails and brand activations that were collectively attended by more than 250,000 people during the period.

Teams from We Group’s agencies The Fair, We Are OPS and We Are Placemaking delivered a back-to-back programme of events including Labyrinth on the Thames – a sold-out series of live events that returned to London’s Old Royal Naval College this summer following its debut last summer.

Among the acts to play the Labyrinth on the Thames show series at the UNESCO World Heritage Site were The Kooks, Dom Dolla, Peggy Gou, Overmono, Adriatique, Anjunadeep, Moby and Michael Bibi.

At London’s Burgess Park, We Group delivered six events in collaboration with Elixar Events. The series opened with two editions of Boiler Room, with performances from acts including Basement Jaxx, Charisse C and Riria.

Among the other major events handled by the company were the third edition of Jazz Café Festival, which has been produced by We Group since its inaugural edition. Other projects during the 16-day run included Miniteca, a new free festival celebrating South London’s Latin American and Portuguese communities.

We Group CEO Nick Morgan, who will be among the speakers at the Access All Areas Leaders’ Summit in October, said the remarkably busy period was a reflection of the breadth of work happening across We Group: “A huge amount of planning and coordination happens behind the scenes to make festivals, live events and brand activations like this possible, and it is a testament to the experience, commitment and collaboration of all teams involved.

“We’re proud to work alongside some of the world’s most celebrated promoters, brands and organisations, and we’re looking forward to continuing that momentum – in the UK, US and beyond.”
