The Shop Ibiza, a creative events and production agency has created a production based on James Cameron’s Avatar for client Sound of Love.

The theatrical and technical team achieved an Avatar atmosphere for visitors though its props and set which included inflatable alien plants, Avatar spears, night vision goggles and a fibre-optically enhanced trees, a selection of lasers and fog.

Guests also had the opportunity to enter an Avatar inspired hair and make-up station to add authenticity to the event. Guests entered the indoor tropically-themed barn which had specialised acoustic flooring.

The Shop Ibiza installed more than 30 moving heads from Martin by Harman, a lighting and audio company and Robe (1200s) as well as 60 LED par cans to complete a fibre-optic-adorned oak-tree centre-piece.

More than 50 performing artists were contracted for the occasion, co-ordinated by a choreographer and assigned a wide range of roles for the duration of the event.

To complement the visual production, The Shop Ibiza installed a ground-stacked d&b audiotechnik Q-Series PA with a three x Pioneer DJ CDJ-2000 decks and a DJM-900NXS2 mixer. Additionally, it installed a Pioneer Pro Audio XY-Series PA to generate a club atmosphere.

As well as the skills to design and build props and sets, we have an extensive inventory of high quality AV hardware, lighting and special effects and the know-how to deploy it to great effect.
