Brighton-based, multi-venue, new talent festival and conference the Great Escape has added a further 150 artists to the line-up including emerging acts such as The Murder Capital (pictured), JGrrey, Hak Baker, Sophie May, Mae Stephens and L Devine.

Operated by Live Nation-owned MAMA Concerts, The Great Escape is due to see performances by more than 450 up-and-coming artists across 35 Brighton venues. The 10-13 May event will, as usual, include an industry conference which is expected to attract 3500 music industry professionals.

This year’s conference is set to include keynote conversations with executives and entrepreneurs including Ticketmaster EVP of Global Music David Marcus, promoter and Afro Nation co-founder Smade, and songwriter/producer and recently re-elected president of the PRS Members’ Council Michelle Escoffery.

Among the many other acts announced to perform at the event are Nix Northwest, Fat Dog, RØRY, Heartworms, Dolores Forever, JGrrey, CIVIC, The Gluts and O.
