Brighton-based showcase music festival and conference The Great Escape (TGE) has announced further 2023 stage hosts, including Amazon Music, TikTok and the Royal Albert Hall.

Independent music companies Speedy Wunderground and Transgressive, music magazine Notion, Marshall Amps, and talent agency ATC Live will also be stage hosts for TGE 2023.

MAMA Festivals’ event, which takes place from 10-13 May, will host more than 500 artists across 35 walkable venues, alongside the music industry-led conference.

Amazon Music will once again partner with TGE to take over the festival’s pop-up beach site Amazon Music presents TGE Beach, and +44 from Amazon Music will stage a showcase of black music on the third day of the event.

The Live Nation-owned festival is also partnering with TikTok, alongside SoundOn, to present a showcase at Patterns Upstairs, featuring performances from DJ collective Rain Radio, R&B vocal group No Guidnce, TikTok star Mae Stephens and South East London rapper ENNY.

TGE has reprised its partnership with the Royal Albert Hall, which will present a showcase at One Church. This year also sees The Independent partner with the event for the first time, with the news outlet hosting a show at The Old Market.

TGE regular Steve Lamacq will return to host the BBC 6 Music and Introducing’s stage on 11 May at the Paganini Ballroom (The Old Ship).

TGE’s Lead Country Partner for 2023, Italy, will host two Italian showcases across the festival, titled ‘La Festa’, as well as a networking reception, all coordinated by the music export office Italia Music Export.

Several music talent agencies will also be hosting showcases throughout the festival. WME’s showcase will kick off the TGE Beach Stage on 11 May, while ATC Live’s line-up will take over Komedia Basement on the same day.
