Stormzy has been announced as the first headliner of AEG Presents‘ All Points East festival (cap. 40,000), which takes place at Victoria Park next August.

The UK rapper announced that he will headline a special day at the festival as part of his own curated This is What We Mean Day on 18 August.

AEG Presents CEO of European Festivals Jim King said, “Very excited to confirm that Stormzy is heading to Victoria Park as part of Luno All Points East 2023 with AEG Presents.”

In an announcement video, the former Glastonbury headliner said he wanted to do “something bigger, something better, something different”, following his rescheduled headline tour this year which included three sold-out nights at London’s O2 Arena (20,000)

He said, “This is my only UK show next year and I promise you it will be an experience. We’re taking over Victoria Park for a special day full of incredible artists and music and vibes.”

Further line-up details are yet to be announced. Pre-sale tickets are on sale from 15 November, with the general sale beginning two days later. Priority access will be given to those who pre-order Stormzy’s new album from his online store.
