Standon Calling, located in Standon, Hertfordshire, welcomed 15,000 visitors on 25-28 July, with headliners including Rag’N’Bone Man, Nile Rogers & Chic, Wolf Alice and Lewis Capaldi.

The festival, which was an early adoptive of cashless technology, also welcomed acts such as IDLES, Kate Nash, Friendly Fires and Echo & The Bunnymen.

Changeable weather (including the hottest July day on record followed by a weekend of rain), couldn’t dampen the spirits of festivalgoers who flocked to the headliners, comedy acts, special DJ sets and the family favourite Standon Calling Dog Show.

The pooches competed for accolades including Waggiest Tail. Best in Show, Best Fancy Dress and Most Chic, with a special inaugural Calling for the Community gong awarded to Finn the Police Dog, for ‘extraordinary bravery, resilience and determination’.

Standon Calling will celebrate its 15th anniversary on 26-29 July 2020.
