Christopher BarrettAlt-rock band Pixies are to donate tickets for every date on the band’s forthcoming international tour to Tickets For Good (TFG).
TFG, a platform that provides free and heavily discounted tickets for major live events to NHS and charity sector workers, teachers and volunteers, has previously collaborated with artists including Dua Lipa, Idles, UB40 and Yungblud – who used the platform for his inaugural BludFest in August.
Founded in 2019 and headquartered in Sheffield, TFG counts former Take That star turned solo performer Robbie Williams among its largest investors. The platform helps event operators provide tickets for less than £5 in the UK, and less than $5 in the US, to non-profit workers and others on low incomes. Across its UK, EU and US divisions, TFG has more than 370,00 registered users.
Pixies are to kick off a 20-date tour in 2025 in April in the Netherlands, moving across the EU, the UK and onto the US and Canada, culminating on August 1. The Tickets For Good partnership includes tour dates that are sold out, providing registered members a chance to gain access via a dedicated ballot.
