NAPIT is a government-approved and UKAS-accredited membership scheme in the building services and fabric sector.

Temporary electrical systems are required at a range of both public and private events, and the knowledge and understanding required to work in this area is specialist and unique.

NAPIT works to promote the importance of safety for all individuals involved in the events and production industry. There are currently over 10,000 NAPIT registered installers across the UK.

They have developed a City & Guilds accredited training course and a membership scheme, specifically for individuals who work with temporary electrical systems and for electricians who are looking to upskill.

The training course and scheme was designed to improve professional ability and competence within the entertainment and events sector.
