Twickenham Stadium

Shirene Lalmahomed has joined Twickenham Experience as conference and events coordinator. She will be responsible for organising all conference and events bookings, commercial, corporate and private conferences and events and ensuring TEL operational procedures and standards are applied throughout.

Rob Brumell, conference and events operations manager at Twickenham Stadium, commented: “I am looking forward to welcoming Shirene to the Twickenham team in the role of conference and events coordinator. I has been a great year for us so far and I am excited to see what the rest of the year has in store for the venue.”

Creative agency INITIALS has announced the promotion of Rachel Bateman to director and head of live engagement. The move builds on Bateman’s promotion to the newly created role of head of live engagement in 2015 as part of the agency’s transformation of its experiential provision to live engagement.

“I’m thrilled with my new appointment onto the board and excited to be a part in building INITIALS’ future,” Bateman said. “Returning to work in 2013 from maternity leave has given me a new perspective; seeking to find the right balance between a successful and fulfilling career and being a mum. I hope that my promotion will encourage others to see that flexible working hours don’t have to impact an ambition and ability to succeed in senior roles within the industry.”

Rosie Harper has joined drp as venue coordinator within the venuepot department. She will be sourcing venues across the UK and Europe for drp’s entire roster of clients.

“After various roles within the industry, I have always admired drp and the venuepot team,” Harper said. “I am delighted to be a part of such a highly respected and influential company in the events industry, and I am looking forward to starting my first project.”
