Motorpoint Arena Nottingham (cap. 10,500) and car retailer Motorpoint have extended their naming rights partnership by five years, taking the agreement through to 2035.

The venue has operated as Motorpoint Arena Nottingham since 2015. With the latest extension, the partnership will span at least 20 years, making it one of the longest-running continuous arena naming rights agreements in the UK.

Motorpoint’s existing deal was due to expire in 2030, but the company has opted to renew four years ahead of schedule. Under the agreement, Motorpoint will maintain its branding and activation presence across the venue, including vehicle displays in Bolero Square and a programme of audience engagement initiatives.

The partners said they will continue to collaborate on customer-focused experiences, including competitions, hospitality opportunities and other event-related promotions for arena visitors.

The announcement follows a record year for the Nottingham venue, which marked its 25th anniversary in 2025. During the year, the arena hosted more than 150 events and welcomed one million visitors.

Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is preparing for another year of live entertainment, with upcoming events including performances by Lily Allen, The Pussycat Dolls and Jack Whitehall, alongside the immersive exhibitions Beyond Van Gogh and Beyond Monet.

“Having worked with the Arena for over a decade, I think a big reason our partnership has been so successful is that we are both dedicated to giving our customers the best experience possible,” said Mortopoint Group CEO Mark Carpenter.

Motorpoint Arena Nottingham CEO Martin Ingham said, “Having just celebrated our 25th anniversary and our best-ever year, extending this partnership feels like the perfect way to start the next chapter.

“Motorpoint has been part of the Arena’s story since 2015, helping us to create experiences for the millions of visitors who have passed through our doors. This renewal is a real statement of confidence in our venue, our city and the future of live entertainment.”
