The inaugural Access All Areas Conference & Awards saw live event professionals from across the industry recognised for their outstanding achievement in 2022.
Among the winners at the event at EartH in London yesterday, 12 January, were From The Fields, which was declared event promoter of the year, and FKP Scorpio Entertainment collected best visitor experience for Jurassic World Exhibition.
S&C Productions picked up the best launch event award for The Cambridge Club Festival, while Mustard Media and the Camp Bestival team were recognised for best marketing campaign for their work on Camp Bestival Shropshire, and Far and Beyond Events was declared Employer of The Year.
The Legacy award, which celebrates an event that has had a long-term positive impact on the local community, was won by Towersey Festival.
Among the many individuals recognised during the ceremony were Kilimanjaro Live head of production Dave Hale who won best production manager, LS Events senior site manager Iain Rogers collected the best site manager award, and Caitlin Ford was declared the rising star.
Access All Areas content director Christopher Barrett said, “During testing times last year there was no shortage of excellence, endurance and creative endeavour demonstrated across the industry. The Access All Areas Awards was created to recognise the sterling work of promoters, production companies, venue operators and freelancers across the industry, not just in live music but across sports and cultural events. There was a focus on recognising newcomers, and excellence across key areas such as social impact, sustainability, and diversity.
“Congratulations to all the well-deserved winners, and many thanks to our event partners and sponsors including Arena Group, Tysers Insurance Brokers, SA Event Management Solutions Worldwide and Catalytic Solutions.”
