Forbidden Forest to increase capacity and offer on-site camping at new location

Forbidden Forest festival will move to a new location and offer on-site camping for the first time this year, hosted by global lifestyle party brand Candypants.

The dance music festival, run by the same team behind We Are FSTVL in Essex, is set to host 25,000 people on 2-3 July at Belvoir Castle in Leicestershire. It last took place at Wild Oaks Forest, Bourne in 2019 with a capacity of 6,500, reduced from the previous edition’s 10,000 capacity.

The new location will host eight stages and is situated on the outskirts of Grantham, on the border between Nottinghamshire and Leicestershire.

Now in its seventh year, the 2022 edition has a lineup of 50 artists including Shy FX, Adam Beyer, Andy C, Basement Jaxx, Gorgon City, Jamie Jones and Alan Fitzpatrick.
