Hudson, 26, joined the company in January 2014 as staff writer and has since gone on to play a significant role in the recent re-launch of AAA.

Speaking after the announcement, managing editor, exhibition and events portfolio, Jamie Wallis said: “I am absolutely delighted to see Emma taking over the reins of Access. She is a naturally talented young editor, who I firmly  believe has an excellent career in media ahead of her.”

Access, is a title that has enjoyed continued growth in the market, both in print and online, and Emma is the perfect editor to continue the magazine’s development.”

Hudson’s promotion comes after Tom Hall, who has edited Access since July 2014, was handed the role of editor of Access’ sister title Exhibition World.

“Tom is an obvious choice to take over the editorship of EW,” continued Wallis.  “He is a very experienced MICE journalist who is full of fresh ideas and has an excellent eye for a story.”

Hudson has taken over the editorship of Access with immediate effect and can be contacted on ehudson@mashmedia.net.
