Festival Republic said all 135,000 tickets for its Wireless festival sold out in minutes, following the announcement that Drake will takeover the event’s 20th anniversary edition, headlining all three nights and performing a different set each evening.
The Live Nation-owned promoter said it has become the fastest in the festival’s history.
Scheduled to take place on 11-13 July at London’s Finsbury Park, Wireless will mark Drake’s first UK performance in six years. Among the acts also set to perform are Burna Boy, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Summer Walker, Vybz Kartel and Boy Better Know. The promoter said Burna Boy’s Wireless performance will be a UK festival exclusive for 2025.
Having first headlined Wireless in 2012, Drake has made several special guest appearances at the festival over the years. His 2025 Wireless residency is being billed as a world-first in the festival industry. Festival Republic said Drake holds the title for the festival audience’s most requested artist since Wireless’s inception.
