Dr Linda Yueh CBE has been appointed as chair of The Royal Parks, by DCMS, for a four-year term effective March 2026.
The Royal Parks is the public body responsible for managing eight major parks in London, including Hyde Park, Regent’s Park, Richmond Park, and Kensington Gardens. In addition to maintaining parklands and wildlife, the organisation manages public events and works with the promoters and producers to host events such as BST Hyde Park (pictured) and Winter Wonderland.
Dr Yueh has held a range of advisory and governance roles, including being a member of the UK Soft Power Council, the English Law Promotion Panel, and as an adviser to the UK Board of Trade. Her previous roles include executive chair of the Royal Commonwealth Society and board membership of London & Partners, London’s growth agency, including during the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
