BST Hyde Park Open House has announced a new participatory event inviting runners of all abilities to take part in a 3km run alongside Olympic champion Sir Mo Farah.

The event, titled Run With Mo!, will take place on 30 June as part of the festival’s midweek Open House programme.

Organisers said the run is designed to be accessible, with ticket prices starting from £29.50 during the initial release. Spectator options will include both viewing platform and ground-level access.

The 3km route will begin and end at the festival’s Great Oak Stage in Hyde Park. Participants will take part in a group warm-up session led by Farah and running coach Adam Clarke of URUNN before setting off on a route through the park.

In addition to the run, the event will include DJ sets and a live on-stage Q&A with Farah, hosted by broadcaster Nihal Arthanayake. The discussion is expected to cover Farah’s career and personal journey, including his early life in Somaliland and subsequent rise in international athletics.

BST Hyde Park Open House will run across two weeks, from 9 June to 2 July and from 6 July to  9 July, featuring a mix of free and ticketed events.

The Open House series forms part of the wider American Express presents BST Hyde Park festival. Previous editions have included large-scale public events such as a professional darts showcase, orchestral performances, and fitness sessions. Last year’s programme also featured a film-related orchestral premiere linked to a major studio release.

The 2026 BST Hyde Park concert series is set to include headline performances from Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Mumford & Sons, Duran Duran, Pitbull and Lewis Capaldi across multiple dates from late June to mid-July.

“This June we’re excited to bring everyone together at the BST Open House Festival in Hyde Park for an enjoyable 3km conversational run, with the support of URUNN,” said Farah. “It’s a great place to run, always an amazing atmosphere, and we’re looking forward to seeing runners of all abilities get involved.”
