Ticketmaster said it is expanding its Client Development team with the appointment of Dan Pearce as its SVP.

Pearce previously spent 6.5 years at Ticketmaster in roles including SVP marketing and MD of its re-sale operations, during which he launched its Fan-to-Fan Ticket Exchange. Ticketmaster closed its re-sale platforms GetMeIn and Seatwave in late 2018.

Pearce rejoins Ticketmaster after a four-year hiatus during which he was Virgin Experience Days CMO, he left Ticketmaster in January 2019.

“Dan’s knowledge of Ticketmaster and this industry is unrivalled, bringing with him the rare ability to wholly hit the ground running,” said Ticketmaster UK MD Andrew Parsons. “I am confident Dan will quickly deliver results for our clients, drive value for our partners and lead this exemplary team’s continued success.”

Pearce said he was thrilled to be returning to the Live Nation-owned ticketing giant: “I’m looking forward to working with established and new clients alike to capitalise on exciting recent developments in technology and maximising Ticketmaster’s unrivalled marketing tools and reach.”

The appointment follows Alex Berti stepping up into the VP, Client Development role at Ticketmaster, with a focus on the attractions and immersive sectors, and Rebecca Lott taking on the role of senior director – Strategic Accounts.
