Somerset House is set to host its first comedy festival, with the London debut of Laughterama this summer.

Organised by London-based promoter 57, the London launch of Laughterama will see acts including Ross Noble, Sara Pascoe (pictured), Josh Widdicombe, Dara Ó Briain and Phil Wang perform in Somerset House’s Edmund J Safra Fountain Court.

With seven shows across five days from 29 July – 2 August, Laughterama at Somerset House is being launched by 57 on the back of a Manchester edition that has hosted major acts including James Acaster, Aisling Bea and Stewart Lee since its debut in 2022.

Led by sibling duo Will Briggs and Cass Randolph, 57 said it sees around 100,000 tickets sold for its comedy festivals per year. It counts the Greenwich Comedy Festival at the Old Royal Naval College, Bristol Comedy Garden and Brighton Comedy Garden, among its UK show portfolio.
