Ticketmaster will provide ticketing services for the venue, alongside marketing support and access to its global audience of live music fans.
Blue Note London will also use Ticketmaster’s SafeTix technology, which uses encrypted digital tickets with rotating barcodes and NFC technology to help prevent ticket fraud and duplication.
The partnership will support ticket distribution and marketing for shows at the new venue, with Ticketmaster promoting performances through its digital channels and marketplace.
Blue Note London will open with five-time Grammy Award-winning artist Robert Glasper performing on 23 and 24 September, followed by a further seven shows in November.
Other artists scheduled to perform include Erykah Badu, Jamie Cullum, Nubya Garcia, Yussef Dayes, KOKOROKO and Hak Baker.
“Blue Note has played a huge role in jazz for decades, and its arrival in London is a significant addition to a live music scene that’s thriving,” said Ticketmaster UK MD Sarah Slater. “We’re excited to support that next chapter, using Ticketmaster’s technology, marketing reach and global audience to connect more fans with the artists playing at Blue Note London and make getting into shows as simple and secure as possible.”
Blue Note Entertainment Group president Steven Bensusan said, “For over two decades, Ticketmaster has been more than a partner to Blue Note, they’ve been part of our story. Few companies understand the live music experience the way Ticketmaster does, and that’s exactly why they’re the right partner for this next chapter.”
