The burgeoning Arena Group said it has expanded its capabilities in scenic build provision and live event production with the acquisition of Maestra, an events build specialist based in the UAE and KSA.

It is the latest of many recent acquisitions for the Arena Group, which include Showblock, Aztec Shaffer and Stadium Solutions. The comoany said its most recent purchase will strengthen its presence in the Middle East, and enable the company to provide a broader range of turnkey solutions to its clients across a diverse array of projects.

Founded in 2014, Maestra is a premium fabrication supplier that has delivered scenic builds for luxury brand experiences and large-scale live events including COP28 UAE and Diriyah Bashayar 2024. It has around 150 full-time employees, and 80,000 square feet of workshop space across the UAE and KSA.

Maestra founder and CEO Tom Clements will continue to lead the company, and it will continue to manage Arena’s Showblock operations in the region.

Clements said, “This acquisition marks an exciting new chapter for Maestra. With Arena’s global infrastructure capabilities, we can now offer our clients a broader range of integrated solutions while maintaining the exceptional client service for which we are known.”

Arena Group CEO Paul Berger said the acquisition is a strategic move that strengthens his company’s position as a leading provider of comprehensive event solutions: “Maestra’s expertise perfectly complements our existing capabilities, allowing us to offer clients an even more integrated service than ever before. We’re excited to welcome the Maestra team to the Arena Group family and look forward to collaborating to deliver exceptional experiences for our clients across the Middle East and beyond.”
