Premier Events has launched a dedicated AV and technical production division.
Premier Live will provide audio visual delivery, lighting, staging, video, bespoke technology and live event production support for corporate events, conferences, exhibitions, awards ceremonies and live experiences in the UK and internationally.
The new division forms part of a wider development of Premier’s business, with its core departments gradually becoming standalone specialist brands since 2020.
Premier Live will also provide technical activations, including the development of bespoke technology and automation. Recent projects have included an exhibition photo booth incorporating smoke and scent effects, and an RFID-activated quiz game developed using code.
The division will also incorporate Premier’s AV rental operation, offering lighting, audio, staging, video and event technology equipment through the company’s existing warehouse and technical infrastructure.
Premier has invested more than £80,000 in its production inventory, including 24 Astra Hybrid330 LED fixtures, alongside expanded warehouse operations.
Premier Live will operate alongside Premier’s existing specialist divisions, including Premier Events for event management, Premier Connects for delegate management, Premier Woodshop for fabrication and Premier Studios for content and creative support.
Premier Events director Ben McCarthy said, “Over the last few years, each area of the business has grown significantly in its own right, and Premier Live is a natural next step in that evolution.
“We’ve seen increasing demand for specialist technical production support, particularly from clients looking for more integrated and high-spec delivery across live events. Launching Premier Live allows us to give that side of the business its own dedicated identity while continuing to work collaboratively across the wider Premier business.”
