Independent West Yorkshire promoter Futuresound has announced a new series of outdoor concerts, Live at Tileyard North, set to take place in Wakefield during August 2026.
The series will take place in the courtyard of Tileyard North and is expected to feature performances from a mix of established artists and emerging acts. The first confirmed headliner is The Vaccines, who will perform on 30 August 2026.
Futuresound, nominated for Regional Promoter of the Year at the 2025 Live Awards, has organised large-scale events across the region for nearly 30 years, including Live at Leeds, Slam Dunk and Live at York Museum Gardens.
Futuresound Events promoter Toby Womack said, “We’ve always prided ourselves on working closely with the communities we promote in; building events, networks and relationships that continue to grow and thrive.
“We’re so excited to be investing long-term locally in our neighbouring city of Wakefield and we can’t wait to share what else we’ve got planned for Live at Tileyard North.”
Tileyard North head of events Sam Townend said, “This is set to be the biggest event series the city has ever seen, and we’re incredibly proud to help bring these landmark shows to life here at Tileyard North.”
