Max SteventonLive at Ludlow Castle will continue until at least 2033, with Ludlow Castle and independent promoter Futuresound having agreed a new deal.
The agreement follows the conclusion of the 2026 concert series, which attracted 50,000 attendees across two weekends. Headliners included Snow Patrol, Paul Weller, The Human League, Tom Grennan, The Streets, Rick Astley, Richard Ashcroft and Scissor Sisters.
Founded in 2023 by Leeds-based promoter Futuresound, the series was created by its Ludlow-born founder Colin Oliver. Since its launch, the event has expanded over four consecutive years.
The long-term agreement secures live music at the Shropshire venue for at least the next seven years and allows organisers to confirm that the 2027 edition will take place from 15 to 25 July.
Alongside this year’s headliners, the programme also featured performances from Corinne Bailey Rae, Miles Kane, Marc Almond, The Lightning Seeds, Heather Small, CAST, Ellur, The Florentinas and Versaints.
Futuresound has operated for almost 30 years and also promotes events including Live at Leeds, Slam Dunk, Live at York Museum Gardens, Live at Kirkstall Abbey and Live at Tileyard North, alongside shows at venues across the UK.
