Iron Maiden has become the first band confirmed to play the 125,000-capacity Knebworth Park next summer.

Promoted by Kilimanjaro Live, the show on 11 July 2026 will see the band bring their Run For Your Lives World Tour to the UK’s largest single-stage music venue.

The veteran heavy metal band are the first to confirm they will play Knebworth Park next year, following a flood of speculation that Oasis will return to play a series of 30th anniversary shows there next summer. Knebworth House & Park managing director Martha Lytton Cobbold told Access All Areas that no Oasis shows have been booked at the venue.

Iron Maiden, who last played Knebworth in 2014 as headliners of Kilimanjaro’s Sonisphere festival, will be supported by acts including The Darkness at the show next summer. It is being billed as a weekend event, with camping, and a range of entertainment on offer along with Iron Maiden-themed food and stands, plus a take on the historic Knebworth Fayre.

The band’s manager Rod Smallwood said the event will see Knebworth Park transformed into ‘Maiden World’: “We knew that we had to bring the Run For Your Lives show back to the UK again next summer as there was such a phenomenal demand for tickets this year but we wanted to do something a bit different especially as it would be hard to top the show at London Stadium

“Well, we think that Knebworth is the solution – besides being a legendary venue for historic concerts over the years going right back to Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Stones and Queen – it also gives us the outdoor space and control to create something very special for our fans! Of course, we also have history there too with our headline appearances at Sonisphere some years ago, who could forget that World War I Centenary dog fight over the park’s tree line with Bruce full guns blazing in his own Fokker triplane?”
