Award-winning live event production agency Event360 has been acquired by Melbourne-based event tech giant PMY.

PMY said its acquisition of UK-based Event360, an event production agency that counts UEFA, NFL International and Six Nations amongst its client base, is part of a wider expansion plan in the EMEA region and reaffirms its commitment to the UK market.

A producer of match-day entertainment, stadium ceremonies and live experiences, Event360 won the Best Visual Spectacular award at the Event Production Awards in 2022 for its work on the delayed Euro 2020 Closing Ceremony.

As part of the deal, Event360 will be rebranded and integrated into KOJO – PMY’s global experience division. PMY said the move would enhance the company’s ability to deliver technology-driven fan engagement and world-class live event production: “By combining Event360’s match-day expertise with KOJO’s award-winning creative, production, and technology services, PMY is poised to elevate fan experiences at major events, tournaments, and stadiums around the world.”

PMY Group CEO Paul Yeomans said the acquisition aligns with the company’s vision to power the live environment through technology, intelligence and experience: “We are proud to welcome Julian and the Event360 team into PMY Group. We have long admired their ability to elevate stadium and live event experiences for the world’s largest sporting venues, clubs and leagues and we look forward to continuing to innovate together, using the full breadth of our collective experience and capability.”

Event360 MD Julian Marks will join KOJO’s executive leadership team as EMEA group general manager. PMY said he will collaborate with KOJO Group CEO Stephen Lord to drive the growth of KOJO’s international presence and new markets.

“We’re thrilled to join forces with PMY Group and KOJO,” said Marks. “United in our purpose to elevate live sports and entertainment, we’re ready to deliver world-class experiences that connect deeply with fans and create lasting memories.”
