The finishing touches are being made to the Amsterdam Dance Event programmes, with festival operators taking centre stage.

The festival strand will run from 16-20 October, featuring more than 3,000 artists across 200 venues. Among the acts scheduled to perform are Carl Craig, Moodymann, Honey Dijon, Four Tet and Peggy Gou.

Organisers of the four-day ADE Pro conference said around 600 speakers will take part in the annual business gathering for the global electronic music industry. Among those scheduled to speak are Tomorrowland festival CEO and co-founder Michael Beers, Homecoming Festival founder Grace Ladoja, Grimes’ manager Daouda Leonard, Shambala Festival’s Chris Johnson, Glastonbury Festival’s Andrew Lansley and R² Festival founder Reinier Zonneveld.

The event will also mark the tenth anniversary of its ADE Green conference strand. Taking place on 18 October, it will feature sessions exploring sustainability and social justice. ADE Green will include representatives from events and organisations including Boom, Dekmantel, Glastonbury, Homecoming Festival, ID&T, Tomorrowland, Resident Advisor, Earth Percent and Green Deal Circular Festivals.

Among the huge number of Amsterdam venues to be used for ADE include the Van Gogh Museum, Door Open Space, Bimhuis and Melkweg.
