Promoter responds to Hard Rock’s withdrawal statement. The show will go on.

Hard Rock International, which supported Hard Rock Calling in Hyde Park and latterly Queen Elizabeth Park (see Access issue 173), pulled out of the festival this week. But former partner, Live Nation, has committed to continue with the concept.

‘Following record ticket-demand and audience numbers at festivals this year, Live Nation is exploring new sponsorship partnerships for its ‘Calling’ franchise,’ the company said in a statement.

Further details about venues and timings for 2014 are promised in due course.
