Bygrave Woods in Hertfordshire is preparing for FARR festival where a new 360 degree live video streaming service will be provided by tech firm SimpliWiFi.

Already known for its existing mobile WiFi solutions, which support the organisers of this year’s FARR festival with ticketing and onsite sales, SimpliWiFi’s new video streaming package uses the latest camera technology to provide a unique overview of events as they unfold online.

As early adopters of this new technology the organisers of this year’s festival, which is due to take place 5-8 July 2018, hope to capture the acts, such as Maribou State, Dixon, Tom Misch and Jacques Green, as well as the atmosphere of the crowd.

Ozan Pakyuz, director and founder of SimpliWiFi, said: “Our powerful new 360o video streaming service provides organisers of events with a unique opportunity to share the experience of attendance at one of these events, which is a really powerful way of building a festival’s profile and attracting future visitors.

“The advancements in mobile WiFi and live streaming technology that has made this possible means we can cover a variety of events and we have already seen interest from several festivals in the UK already, so we hope our association with the fantastic FARR Festival will encourage others to take up this technological leap forward.”

This is the third year that SimpliWiFi has supported FARR Festival, having provided its WiFi services in previous years.
