UK-head-quartered event and venue consultancy, Trivandi has acquired elite sport advisory business Beyond the Pitch.

Trivandi said the acquisition adds football boardroom experience to its global event advisory, design and delivery business. It has also seen Trivandi open its sixth office, on campus at Liverpool Hope University, alongside a new Memorandum of Understanding with the university to connect academic research with real-world delivery in sport, venues and major events

Beyond the Pitch was founded by the former Premier League executives who led the planning, financing and construction of Everton FC’s new £800 million Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The integrated Trivandi and Beyond the Pitch team is understood to already be providing business development support for a global sports and entertainment service provider and working on the delivery of strategic infrastructure projects and business planning within professional cricket.

Trivandi CEO James Bulley OBE said, “Sport is attracting more investment than ever, but investment alone does not create value. Clients need people who have experienced what it takes to turn vision into long-term commercial and operational value. Beyond the Pitch brings first-hand experience from inside elite sport, including club leadership, major stadium development, finance, commercial growth and investment. This acquisition supports investors and owners to make better investment decisions, optimise assets and create long-term value.”

“Liverpool is a city with sport, culture and major events in its DNA. Through our new office at Liverpool Hope University, we can bring leading edge research and data insights into our advisory offer, while helping build the next generation of sport and event professionals”

Since it was launched in 2013, Trivandi has delivered more than 300 projects in 30 countries including every Summer Olympic Games since London 2012, FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games where it serves as Official Event Delivery Partner.
