Max SteventonRoder UK, a supplier of modular structures for live events has gained recognition for its sustainability work.
The Cambridgeshire-based company, which has been supplying the events sector for more than 50 years, said it has focused heavily on reducing its carbon footprint, despite the heavy equipment, transport and machinery involved in the day to day running of the business.
Roder’s sustainability initiatives have gained media attention and industry award nominations, including being shortlisted for two National Sustainability Awards for both The Sustainable Transport Award and Partnership of the Year, following a successful collaboration with eco-friendly haulage company Voltloader for the 2025 Chelsea Flower Show.
Senior account manager Nic Hardy said, “It’s really special to be finalists for these awards. It feels like a huge acknowledgment of the work we have put in behind the scenes to improve our corner of the industry. We are all looking forward to attending the ceremony in the coming weeks and connecting with other companies championing sustainability.”
