Access All AreasThe Pink Bows Foundation used the Event Production Shows (EPS) 2026 as a platform to reveal details of its new Introduction to Showstop Procedure e-learning course.
The Showstop Procedure was first launched at EPS in February last year, with an introduction by Brian Dubiski, the father of Madison Dubiski who tragically lost her life in the 2021 Astroworld Travis Scott Concert. Subsequently, the Pink Bows Foundation (PBF) has been on a mission to make events safer.
The Showstop Procedure is the central pillar of its actions, created to reduce system failure and support safer live events through a global standardised competency framework for safety-critical decision making during live events. Since launch, more than 650 event professionals have completed the training, contributing to safer event delivery for audiences of over 40 million people worldwide.
The new e-learning Introduction to Showstop Procedure course, unveiled during an EPS conference panel (pictured), is internationally accredited by Highfield and qualifies for 4 CPD points. PBF said it is available to the global event industry for organisations seeking to provide consistent training to their staff and contractors. The e-learning course serves as an Accredited Prior Learning pathway to the full Professional Showstop Procedure Certification.
The course will be launched in English followed by multi-lingual options available in Spanish, German, French, Hindi, Arabic and Portuguese from next month. Further languages will be added throughout 2026.
The launch of the e-learning course at EPS marked another major milestone in Pink Bows’ mission to improve safety standards across the global live events industry. The panel session Safe & Sound: Landmark Developments in Event Security featured Dynamic Crowd Management’s Andrew Tatrai, Halo’s Lloyd Major and Steve Allen from Pink Bows Foundation. It was chaired by Graham Brown.
The panel explored significant developments across the sector, delving into the integration of new technologies, which improve the use of data to support the decision-making processes applied by crowd management professionals to keep audiences safer.
