Peppermint Bars & Events has expanded its senior leadership team with the appointment of David Hough as finance director and Kate Ayre as sales and commercial director.
Since Peppermint was founded in 2003 by Alex Brooke and Adam Hempenstall, the company has been grown into a multi-award-winning operation that services more than 50 events and venues each year, and counts the likes of AEG, Live Nation and IMG among its clients. In 2022, Peppermint completed a strategic JV partnership with event catering giant Levy.
Hough has joined Peppermint from Legends, where he spent the past six years as finance director working across projects including the Paris 2024 Olympics and the Ryder Cup. At Peppermint, he is now responsible for overseeing financial and strategic operations across its events and venues.

Ayre has joined Peppermint from Broadwick Group, where as head of spaces she was involved in developing venue concepts including London’s The Leadenhall Building and The Pelligon. At Peppermint she is tasked with leading on strategic partnerships, business development and commercial growth initiatives across the company.
