The Warehouse Project, a series of club nights in Manchester, has launched its largest season to date at the Depot at Mayfield.

The Depot at Mayfield is a new venue in Manchester, operated by Broadwick Venues. It is behind the same team who masterminded Printworks and the newly-opened Magazine London, among others.

The 10,000 capacity venue is located at Manchester’s historic former railway station, Mayfield.

Part of the £1 billion regeneration of Mayfield, Depot will provide a platform for a diverse programme of cultural events, with conjoining spaces Concourse, offering free-to-attend community events, and Archive, providing low-cost rehearsal and studio spaces.

The Warehouse Project season will take place from 20 September-1 January 2019. Highlights from the opening weekend included:

  • Aphex Twin’s live interactive and audio performance, with a line up featuring Nina Kraviz and Lee Gamble
  • A headline set from Disclosure
  • A live performance from Maribou State with vocalist Holly Walker
  • A set from Radio 1 tastemaker Annie Mac
