Max SteventonA new one-day music event Electric Paradise will debut in Milton Keynes this summer.
Launched by independent Manchester-based promoter JBM Music, the open-air event will take place at Milton Keynes’s National Bowl on 8 August. The lineup features several disco and soul stars including Grace Jones, Kool & The Kang, Shalamar and Jocelyn Brown. JBM said the launch marks the start of a long-term festival concept.
Electric Paradise is JBM’s latest outdoor live event joining the recently launched Barton Live concert series and Reggae Land, also at the National Bowl,.
JBM Music said, “From day one, our vision has been to create a world-class experience that honours the legacy of these sounds while delivering the energy, production and atmosphere of a major modern festival. Launching the first edition is just the beginning, and we’re committed to growing this into a landmark annual event.”
