Max SteventonA new open-air concert series will launch this summer at Barton Aerodrome (cap.5,000) in Manchester.
Barton Live, promoted by JBM Music, will consist of four consecutive shows between 2 July and 5 July.
Barton Live will comprise three stand-alone concerts headlined by David Gray, Faithless and Craig David, alongside a one-day festival on the final day named Electric Heart. Described as a celebration of indie music, Electric Heart will feature performances from The Fratellis, The Hoosiers and Scouting for Girls.
Barton Aerodrome has previously been home to live events including airshows, drone shows and concerts by acts such as JLS and UB40.
JBM said, “Barton Live is about creating a proper summer run of live music at Barton Aerodrome, not just a one-off show. Bringing David Gray, Faithless, Craig David and Electric Heart together across four consecutive days gives audiences a genuine choice of world-class outdoor performances, all in one place.”
