Fiona Stewart’s Green Man festival has sold out in just over an hour, with the 2026 event’s lineup remaining unannounced.

Wales’ largest music and arts festival, and one of only three large independent festivals in the UK, Green Man will take place 20-23 August next year.

The 25,000-capacity event, which generates around £28 million for the Welsh economy each year, sparked rave reviews for the 2025 edition with five-star reviews from media including The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, The London Standard and Rolling Stone UK.

Entering its 24th year, Green Man 2026 tickets were released at 10am on 27 September. Organisers said there will not be another ticket release for 2026, but resale tickets may be purchased exclusively via Green Man’s official ticket reseller, Tixel.

The owner of the Green Man Festival since 2006, Stewart won the editor’s award at the AAA Awards in December. Following the rapid sell out for 2026, she said, “Diolch yn fawr to the loveliest audience in the universe, we can’t wait to see your faces in a Welsh field when you join us for Green Man 2026, Cariad Mawr.”

Green Man festival director Ian Fielder will be among the speakers at the inaugural AAA Leaders’ Summit on 7-8 October.
