Event catering group Crown Partnership says it will create 100 new jobs over the next two years through its nine partner companies, which include Seasoned, Kudos, Kudos Delivered, Piggotts and Jobs2Go.

New jobs will be created to deal with the increase in events, venue listings and new ventures that include the Science Museum, The Chichester Hotel, Ware Priory, Flitch of Bacon and Morgan’s Farm.

The group says a rise in enquiries and new venue listings, together with more event bookings via the central sales team have led to the recruitment drive.

One new venture for the Crown Partnership, in conjunction with Daniel Clifford, is Morgan’s Farm in Essex. As well as growing produce to supply both Midsummer House and Flitch of Bacon, it will offer a fishery, a purpose built venue for 300 and a Daniel Clifford cookery school.

The company began an apprenticeship scheme in 2010 and has since employed 15 apprentices.

Charles Beer (pictured), senior partner at the Crown Partnership, said: “It’s a busy time for the Partnership and taking on new staff is imperative to keep us moving in the right direction.
