Chepstow Racecourse is to host 30,000 people for a live music weekend that will include Lewis Capaldi’s biggest gig to date, promoted by Live Nation-owned Cuffe and Taylor.

The Monmouthshire racecourse will host the BRIT Award-winning singer on 1 July as part of his 2023 World Tour. Joining Capaldi on the night will be Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid, in between a Lionel Richie show on 30 June and George Ezra on 2 July.

Also performing on the weekend will be the Sugababes, Gabrielle, Kingfishr, The Big Moon, Cat Burns and Kevin Davy White.

Earlier this month, Capaldi played a sold-out show at Cardiff International Arena on the first leg of the tour.

Chepstow Racecourse executive director Phil Bell said, “The team at Cuffe and Taylor and Live Nation have brought together an exceptional line-up of established and rising stars to celebrate live music with what promises to be an amazing weekend here in the Welsh borders.”

Promoter Peter Taylor from Cuffe and Taylor said, “It is fantastic to be able to reveal Lewis Capaldi is heading to Chepstow Racecourse for his biggest ever Welsh show to date. We have worked with Lewis on several sold-out shows. Not only is he a brilliant singer-songwriter, he is also a fantastic entertainer and the crowd are in for a treat.

“We are also delighted Cat Burns is supporting George Ezra. Cat is a major breakthrough artist who is destined to go far and is the perfect addition to the bill alongside The Big Moon and Kingfishr. This will be a very special weekend of live music.”
