Brand Events, the company behind CarFest and Top Gear Live, have entered into a joint venture with Trinity Mirror plc.

The deal will see the two companies produce regional consumer events across the UK. These initially include the existing events, Keswick Mountain Festival (pictured above) and Kirstie Allsopp presents The Handmade Fair. New launch announcements are also expected in the coming months.

“We are delighted to be working with the UK’s largest national and regional content publisher on this new project to create regional events across the UK,” said Chris Hughes, Brand Events CEO. “We have new formats ready to be launched and are excited to bring together our formats with Trinity Mirror’s astonishing reach and relationships in communities across the country.”

Commenting on the deal, Philip Machray, director of corporate development and Trinity Mirror plc, said: “Brand Events have a long history of creating and launching innovative and exciting events, and we believe they are the perfect partner with which we can build a portfolio of live consumer events across our regional footprint.”
