ATG Entertainment has launched a US division, ATG Live, focused on concerts, comedy and one-night events.

The company, formerly known as Ambassador Theatre Group, said the launch will see it expand its work beyond theatre in the US. ATG already produces more than 500 live events each year across its US venues, selling around one million tickets.

The new division will be led by senior vice president Erik Newson. Newson has more than 30 years of experience across artist management, touring, talent buying and event production. The ATG Live team also includes vice president of programming Kevin Coach, who oversees markets including San Antonio, Tulsa, Little Rock and Springfield.

“Backed by the scale and global reach of ATG Entertainment, this launch strengthens our position in the live music and one-night event space,” Lori Hotz, CEO of ATG Entertainment North America CEO Lori Hotz. “We see tremendous opportunity ahead and are excited to continue expanding our reach while delivering unforgettable experiences for audiences and partners across the U.S.”

Newson said, “ATG Live was built with a clear intention: to present iconic shows in the highest quality venues, while being thoughtful about how and where artists connect with their audiences.”

Across its venues, ATG has hosted artists including Ed Sheeran, Bono, Dave Chappelle, Sabrina Carpenter, John Legend and Bob Dylan. Upcoming shows include Jill Scott, Santana, David Byrne, Nikki Glaser, Wilco and Lily Allen.
