Max SteventonSummit, a new guided roof walk experience, will open at Alexandra Palace on 14 February.
Developed by experiential attraction company Wire & Sky, Summit will allow visitors to access the roof of Alexandra Palace at a height of 130 metres above sea level, making it the highest roof walk in the UK.
The hour-long experience follows a purpose-built route across the building’s roof, finishing at the Angel of Plenty statue and offering 360-degree views across London.
Participants will be able to see London landmarks including St Paul’s Cathedral, The Shard, Canary Wharf and several major stadiums. According to Alexander Palace, the experience is designed to accommodate a range of visitors, with daytime, sunset and evening climbs available.
Alongside standard climbs, Summit will offer private bookings, group climbs for corporate or charity use, and educational climbs tailored for schools and youth groups.
The launch marks the latest visitor experience at Alexandra Palace, which has operated as a public venue for more than 150 years. Summit forms part of the venue’s wider programme of attractions and events aimed at expanding year-round visitor activity at Alexandra Park and Palace.
Alexandra Palace is currently hosting the World Darts Championship, which has been confirmed to remain at the venue until at least 2031.
Wire & Sky has previously delivered similar experiences at venues including Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Cutty Sark, Anfield and The O2.
