Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), a conference and festival centring around electronic music and night life, has broken its event record for the highest number of visitors.

Taking place across 300 locations across Amsterdam from 22-26 October, ADE, organised by the Amsterdam Dance Event Foundation, welcomed more than 600,000 visitors to the city – surpassing 2023’s total of 500,000.

Among new features for this year’s ADE conference included new Pro venue Rosewood and the move of the ADE Lab to Westergas, which organisers described as “hugely successful” upgrades.

ADE welcomed several high-profile electronic music artists, organisers and suppliers including Skepta, Chris Stussy, Sony Music and Tomorrowland Brasil. These were among 3,500 artists and 1,200 events who travelled to the Dutch capital.

Organisers have confirmed that the next edition of ADE will take place from 21 to 25 October, marking the 30th anniversary of the world-renowned event.
