We Group CEO Nick Morgan has joined the board of the Night Time Industries Association (NTIA) as a non-executive advisory board member.

Morgan, who is also vice chair of the Association of Independent Festivals (AIF), has been an avid campaigner for support for the independent events sector.

NTIA CEO Michael Kill said he was delighted to see Morgan join the NTIA board: “Nick’s unparalleled experience in festivals and large-scale event production, combined with his deep understanding of how vibrant cultural events interlink with city life, makes him an invaluable addition. His passion and commitment to the sector speak for themselves, and his appointment strengthens our mission to champion the night-time economy as a vital part of our cultural and economic fabric.”

Also welcoming Morgan, NTIA chair Sacha Lord said, “2025 will be another pivotal year for nightlife and culture in the UK, as we continue to lobby for support. Collaboration has therefore never been more important.

“Nick’s expertise paired with his unwavering passion for the independent scene will strengthen our mission to protect and grow the sector, and I’m therefore delighted to welcome him to the NTIA board. Together, we will continue to fight for a thriving industry, which is vital to the cultural and economic heartbeat of this country.”

Morgan has been an active campaigner through his independent festival production company The Fair, one of three divisions that sit under the We Group umbrella alongside creative production agency We Are Placemaking and event operations and safety agency We Are OPS.

The Fair has released a behind-the-scenes festival documentary, It Takes A Village, highlighting how much hard work goes into producing events and created the Your Festival Needs You campaign – celebrating festivals in a bid to gather vital support for independent events.
