The application process for the UK Festival Awards 2019 has now opened.

The Awards will return to the Troxy in London on December 5th for a third consecutive year. The 16th annual ceremony will once again present accolades across 21 categories that honour teams and individuals in all areas of the festival industry.

Applications are free to make and can be submitted here until September 30th.

New for 2019 is the Women In Festivals Award, launched in part to honour the legacy of the late Tramlines festival director, Sarah Nulty. Applicants can either nominate themselves or a colleague, and the award is open to women working directly for festivals, suppliers, or any other festival-adjacent organisation, in whatever capacity.

Presented by rapper, comedian and actor Doc Brown, the ceremony will be bookended by an extended drinks reception and in-house afterparty with music from northern DJ duo, Howling Rhythm.

Tickets for the UK Festival Awards are priced at £125 (plus VAT) and can be purchased here. They include a seat at the ceremony, access to the networking reception and in-house afterparty, plus street food catering and some complimentary drinks.
