Organisers of the Green Events and Innovations Conference (GEI) have announced the conference speaker line up, which will include a keynote address from UK Climate minister Kerry McCarthy.

Other key speakers at the 25 February event are to include American musician Moby, Ecotricity founder Dale Vince OBE, English singer-songwriter Declan McKenna and award-winning musician and activist Madame Gandhi.

Set to takes place at the Royal Lancaster Hotel, London, GEI17 is being organised by A Greener Future in collaboration with the ILMC.

Headline sessions include Act 1.5 and Beyond, which will focus on the work of Massive Attack and their collaborators following their Act 1.5 show in Bristol, and UN Accelerator City being awarded to Liverpool in 2024. Chaired by Massive Attack tour manager Jamal Chalabi, the A Greener Tour Round V session will explore the impact of touring, while the Food & Drink: Impacts and Emotions panel session will address the impact of event/tour catering and commercial and emotional resistance to change. That session will be chaired by punk musician and journalist John Robb (Membranes / Louder Than War) and include Dale Vince OBE, Peppermint Bars & Events co-founder Adam Hempenstall and Eat to the Beat CEO Bonnie May.

The day will close with the International AGF Awards 2025, hosted by Madame Gandhi and AGF CEO Claire O’Neill.
